The University of the Incarnate Word School of Nursing and Health Professions offers two special programs that can assist practicing registered nurses with an associate’s degree or diploma in nursing advance their education.
The online Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (RN-BSN) is designed for students with an Associate’s Degree or Diploma in nursing, and at least 6 months of experience as a registered nurse.
The hybrid Accelerated Associates Degree to Masters Degree (RN-MSN) is also designed for the academically talented registered with an associates or diploma in nursing who has a desire to earn a graduate degree in nursing.

PROGRAM COSTS
Concerns about finances and how you will pay for this education is a concern for most potential students. A key benefit of our program is that it will help you save money on expenses such costs as gasoline, parking permits, etc. The flexibility of this online nursing program allows you to study at home and never have to be concerned about having to miss classes.
The UIW online nursing program is very affordable. Tuition is reduced which is 50 percent less than the tuition on the main campus. The cost is $360.00 per credit hour. A typical term of six credit hours will cost you approximately $2,160.00 including tuition and fees. Textbooks are free. The free textbook program is available to all undergraduate students.
